  1. Love this Karen, it really got me thinking. So easy to fall into being a cheer leader without really listening to the concerns behind it all and like you say it drives me beyond crazy when people do that to me!

  2. This is a great point that I’ve been finding I have to use with my teen son too in the face of some difficult classes this year. Not just “I know you can do it” but “What’s your plan?” We’ve also been working on not doing the easy stuff first because you want to be fresh when working on more challenging projects. Pinned to my “Kid Instruction Manual” board!
