  1. So important to remember – at the holidays and year-round. I will admit, sometimes I am embarrassed when my girls seem to “want” so many things around the holidays when I know we already have so much. But you are right – it is ingrained in them to think they need these things…it is our job to SHOW them they don’t.

    1. Yes! It’s so hard to pull against all the commercialism and what’s out there. Don’t get me wrong – we have plenty of “consumerism” at Christmas (at least I think so…) – but it’s most important to have them understand the real purpose of the season!
